Hello,

Here is what the students learned today.

I was not in the school today and missed the children very much!

Yesterday Justin reached the stars 20 times! I am so proud of him!

Calendar: Today our routine was led by Selena.
Phonics: Today they continued to talk about the "qu" sound. They talked about all of the "qu" words they can think of and made a list on the board. Next they completed a worksheet.
Gym: Please see Mr. Slyk's blog for more information.

Lunch/Recess

Art: Please see Ms. Kerr's blog for more information.
UOI: Today we talked about librarians! The children talked with their partners about being a librarian and what they do. Next they read a book called "Let's meet a librarian". Next they added the information they learned onto the web. Finally we made bookmarks! They took them home with them and seemed to have lots of fun!

Lunch/Recess

Math: Today we continued to talk about shapes. They talked about each pictures of a shape looking at the corners and sides of each shape. Next they were given a worksheet in which they had to copy the shape with play-doh and then figure out how many corners and sides each shape had.
