Day 120

Hello,

Here is what we did today.

French: Please see Mlle. Jessica's blog for more information.
Calendar: Today our routine was led by Zia.
Phonics: Today we continued to talk about the "th" sound. We sang the song a few times and then talked with our partners about "th" words they can think of. Next we made a web on the board and finished a worksheet.

Lunch/Recess

Art: Please see Ms. Kerr's blog for more information.

UOI: Today we started talking about dentists! We first made a list of everything that we knew about dentists already. They knew a lot! Here is the web.

Next we read a book called "Let's meet a dentist". Following the book they talked with their partners about what they learned. Next I added the information to the web using another colour to see the difference.

Journal: Today we wrote about our favourite foods and why we liked them. We are starting to talk about opinion pieces!

Lunch/Recess

Math: We continued to prepare for the math test tomorrow by going over each coin, what they are worth and what they have on them. Next we completed several counting worksheets.

Don't forget to buy tickets for summer fiesta!
