Here is what we did on Friday.

Calendar: Today our routine was led by Aydan

Phonics: Today we did show and share! The students presented their item and spelled the words with me. Great work guys!

Journal: Today we wrote about our favourite community helper.
Gym: Please see Mr. Slyk's blog for more information.

Lunch/Recess

Arts night: Today we started working on our peter pan song! They had so much fun!
UOI: Today we talked about being chefs! First we talked with our partners about what we know about chef's. Today we are going to practice being a chef and make rice Krispie squares! We first talked about how what we did need to do to make rice Krispie squares and what tools we needed to have. The kids told me how to follow the recipe and I put the ingredients in. Next each child took a turn mixing the ingredients. They had a lot of fun!.

Lunch/Recess

Math: Today we reviewed all of the shapes that we have been learning about. Next we made monsters out of shapes! The kids had to count the number of shapes they had for each shape. They had a lot of fun!
