Here is what we did today!
Calendar: Today our routine was led by Shreya.
Phonics: Today we started working on the sound "oa". We practiced writing it on the board and in the air. Next we made a list of words that have that sound in it and they did fantastic! We made a great list. Next they used the list to make some words out of play-doh.
Gym: Please see Mr. Slyk's blog for more information.
Art: Please see Ms. Kerr's blog for more information.
Journal: Now that we are finishing our unit of inquiry "Outside our window", we revisited what our favourite season was and gave a reason.
Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we did the math test. Everyone worked very hard and I am pleased with what I saw so far. They will be handed back as soon as everyone has done them and they have been marked.
French: Please see Mlle. Jessica's blog for more information.
Lunch/Recess
UOI: Today we started working on our summative. We did an activity that shows their understanding of various objects, activities and weather in each season. I was impressed with what they did! Next they did an activity in which they drew what a person wears in each season.
We ended the day with some finishing some work and doing some silent reading.
Have a great night!
Miss. Ross
