Happy Friday!

Here is what we did today!

Calendar: Today our routine was led by Zia. Here is our morning message we worked on!

Phonics: Today we did our show and share! We talked about the sounds each letter makes and how to spell each word. They all did great!

Gym: Please see Mr. Slyk's blog for more information.
Journal: Today we talked about what type of activities we can do in the spring time. Each student wrote two sentences! The goal is that hopefully each student will independently be writing two sentences soon. Here are some examples!

Lunch/Recess

Unit of inquiry: Today we talked about spring and what is on the tree's during spring time. We talked about how there are not many leaves on them yet as they are still budding. There is also flowers on the tree's.

Lunch/Recess

Math: Today we continued to talk about addition. We did some work together on the carpet solving math problems and verbally saying the questions and answers out loud. It is the hope that this helps them to remember the answers. Students were given a worksheet in which they had to answer questions and circle the ones in which had a particular answer. They are really starting to improve in adding!

Daily Five: We did our daily rotation.

After care invoices went out today in the agenda bags. They are due January 22nd.

Lunch forms went out today as well!

             Please bring in something that begins with the letter sound beside your name.

- Please note: ALL students must wear the “winter” uniform (long sleeve shirt and sweater vest or cardigan)- NO T-SHIRTS PLEASE – If students are not dressed in their “winter” uniform, a uniform violation form will be sent home.
