Here is what we did today.
Ethan reached the stars for the tenth time today! Good work Ethan!

Calendar: Today our routine was led by Justin.
Phonics: Today we verbally talked about all the words that have the "ou" sound in it. Next I did an exercise on the board where I split up a word into the sounds and added in some wrong sounds. The kids had to figure out what the correct spelling is. They had done it before and they loved it !

Arts night: We finished the dance for arts night!
UOI: We finished our family photos from Tuesday! They turned out so cute! They will be put up in the classroom.

Math: Today we did one last review session before our test tomorrow. I gave them a time and with their hands they had to show me whether the big hand was at the 12 or the 6. I tried to trick them but I couldn't! They are too smart!
Next we talked about if the number is in the middle it is always the smaller hour. For example, if it is in between the hour of 1 and 2 it is in the hour of 1. This rule applies for every number except 12 and 1. We have talked about this exception many times. Finally they did two worksheets one in which they had to write the time and another worksheet in which they had to draw the hands. They are ready for tomorrow! Remember.. 00 is married to 12 and 30 is married to 6! It is the rule!
