Here is what we did today.
French: Please see Mlle Jessica's blog for more information.
Calendar: Today our routine was led by Vishnu.
Phonics: Today we started working in the sound "ou". First we sang the song and found all of the "ou" words in the song. Next we made a list of words with that "ou" sound. Finally we used play-doh to make "ou" words from the board.
Lunch/Recess
Language: Today we continued to practiced chunking. I gave them some words and we practiced chunking it up and sounding out the words.
UOI: Today we talked about our immediate family and what that meant. They know that it means their parents, sibling and Grandma and Grandpa. Next we talked about how many people were in our immediate family. Finally we wrote about our family.
Arts night: We started learning the actions!
Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we continued to practice half hour on the clock. We used clock puzzles to match the time to the clock. Next we said that o'clock was married to the 12 and 30 was married to the 6. This helped them remember what time the minute hand needs to go to.
Have a great night!
