Day 91

Hello!

Here is what we did on Friday! 

French: Please see Mlle. Jessica's blog for more information 
Pancake breakfast: The kids had lots of fun eating their pancakes! 


Calendar: Today our routine was led by Bryce. 
Phonics: Today we did show and share for "ee" and "or". We discussed the sounds and how to spell the words. They did great!

Gym: Please see Mr.Slyk's blog for more information

Lunch/recess

Language: Today we practiced our poems and they are improving! Please continue to work on memorizing them with expression and actions. 
UOI: Today they had lots of time to explore the feelings books I brought Ito the classroom, have time to read with me if needed and think of ways to be an inquirer! Next I read them a book on being happy:). 
Phonics: We completed the "or " worksheet. 

Lunch/Recess. 

Math: Today I put everyone into pairs and we played a game. Everyone sat in front of their partner and were given two subtraction flash cards. They had 1-2 mins to solve each question with their partner and then we passed our card to the next partner. They had lots of fun!
Daily five: Independent and partner reading.

- Please note: ALL students must wear the “winter” uniform (long sleeve shirt and sweater vest or cardigan)- NO T-SHIRTS PLEASE – If students are not dressed in their “winter” uniform, a uniform violation form will be sent home.


Reminder
-       Please initial agendas on the right side of the book daily to indicate you have read the agenda slip on the left hand side. Any new information that pops up throughout the week will be written on the right side of the agenda.
-       Please make sure that your child has hat, gloves, snowpants, coat and boots every day as it is very cold.
